Pilgrim Hill exists to make disciples for Jesus through hospitality and art. We operate a hostel for travellers, a yearly arts festival, and (coming soon) residencies for artists in the beautiful Huon Valley of far south Tasmania, Australia.
Through these, our non-profit association seeks to transform lives by proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus and modelling the integrated life of God’s Kingdom.

The Arts
Pilgrim Artists is our initiative for Christians in the arts, connecting and encouraging creatives in the use of our gifts. Since 2016, we have run a yearly festival of visual art, music, and words in the Huon Valley. Starting in 2025, we will be adding artists residencies at Pilgrim Hill, where skilled artists, writers, or musicians will join in the life of the hostel and have the use of our newly built workshop to explore the intersection of art and faith.

At Pilgrim Hill, we are committed to making disciples for Jesus by sharing His love through hospitality and the arts. Nestled in the breathtaking Huon Valley of far south Tasmania, Australia, we provide a sanctuary for travelers through our hostel, inspire creativity through our yearly arts festival, and will soon offer residencies for artists seeking to grow in their faith and craft.
Our mission is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus and model the integrated life of God’s Kingdom, transforming lives one encounter at a time. However, we need your help to continue this vital work.
We are currently in the second phase of our building project, which includes:
- A workshop to foster creativity and skill development.
- Dorm 2 with upgraded facilities to accommodate more guests.
- The Great Hall and Great Room for gatherings, fellowship, and community events.
- Dorm 3 to further expand our capacity.
