Our Association

The Pilgrim Hill Association exists to share the love of Jesus through hospitality and art. We want to welcome people into relationship with Jesus and help everyone live out the world-changing, sacrificial love He taught. We are an ACNC registered non-profit religious charity incorporated in Tasmania, Australia.

Pilgrim Artists Festivals

We host our annual Pilgrim Artists festival every winter, to encourage Christian artists in their craft and share good news about Jesus with the world. More details here.

The Hostel

Pilgrim Hill is an off-grid, family-run hostel for travellers in Tasmania’s Huon Valley. We offer inexpensive, sustainable accommodation in a retreat setting among 26 acres of native bush.

Our mission is to minister the Gospel through hospitality, in word and deed. We invite guests three times a week to join us for a dinner and Gospel discussion throughout the year.

Pilgrim Hill is managed by Peirce + Christina Baehr. The Baehrs live on site and work together with volunteers to run the hostel.

After the initial construction and establishment costs, Pilgrim Hill is designed to be financially self-sustaining and sustainable.
